Gloombug - Minecraft Mob

Updated: Mar 14

So, recently I saw some of Gaziter's arts on Xwitter that made me finally feel inspired and do something I've wanted for a long time, a Minecraft mob!

Little music to get in the mood

Yes, I'm one of those people, I really like Minecraft, I think that since 2012 I've been playing this game again and again, for me it's very calming to almost always redo the same layout of my little farm near the sea and a forest with hills....while I try not to get blown up by a creeper and have all my work fly through the air, incredibly I've never played Minecraft online until today so for me it's always been a very introspective experience, but I think that's a topic for another post.

So while I was at an event this weekend I found myself thinking, what kind of mob would I think would be cool to have in this game? One thing I miss are insects that don't try to kill you in this cubic game, and another thing are mobs that glow, so putting them together I started to sketch a little bug that could make some mechanical difference in the scenario, that's when Gloombug came along, a little insect that hangs in places to emanate light and fly around.

And my friend, I found it complicated to make the textures in 3D, congratulations to those who make them well done, I know it was the first one I made, but I already realized that it requires a very good perception from those who make the models so nothing is weird on the mob.

And well, that's it for this week, I'm going back to doing college things and other city pop pixels for the next posts, stay hydrated, and create your mobs, the more ideas the better!
