Today's post will be shorter (because I'm not a writing machine, ok?)
I was looking at one of the so-called “trends” on Xuitter that I thought was really cool, which was redesigning Mariya Takeuchi's album cover in your own style. And well, I really like City Pop (maybe I'll do a post on this topic here, reusing one I had made for my old blog) and I've been wanting to do this for a while, so it was a big incentive to do this quick drawing, I thought it would be interesting to show the draft too to show the refinement of the pixel art.
-------------- AND ON OTHER SUBJECTS --------------
Talking about city pop, pop stuff and things from Japan, I wanted to show this brick of a magazine I found in a used bookstore this weekend when I was in the city and I picked it up without thinking twice, I really like this kind of layout and it's going to be a really cool study piece, expect a post breaking down this little magazine in full here in future posts! Since I'm trying to learn some things in Japanese, this will help me with several things.
That's it for today, a humbler post, maybe there will be more of these types, stay hydrated, and revisit cool old things! ʕ -ᴥ-ʔᕤ
